I convinced myself that the paperclipping podcast would only work outside while I was walking and the minute I got home I would turn it off and than start it again the next day. The other day, I was in my scrap room making some cards. Pretty soon I was up to four miles because izzy and Noell were so funny and I had to find out how it ended. And every time I want a snack I first drink water. Ina, Inkfanatic, vdoyle8 and 2 others like this. I have a tip, because I tend to sneak too, I always have a big glass of water next to me. AND I want to finish this project that is hanging over my head. The best part is I am 40lbs lighter and have kept it off. 8 of 10 times this help, and I really need to drink more water. Your question made me think of Cathy Zielske and her class at BPC called Move More, Eat Well. In short scrapbooking has helped me get in shape and stay healthy. The other more pleasant goal is to focus on scrapbooking again. Sorry to sound like a commercial but I wanted to share and give some ideas. Part of the reason I stand up while I scrap is because it uses more energy than sitting. I realized that if I scrapped in the evening, maybe I would avoid the snacking and occasional glass of wine I usually consume AND would get the darn scrapbook done so I could move on to another subject. Both my hubs and I have recently been making some changes, to get healthier, and in the process lose some weight. Whenever I HAVE to finish something, it sucks the creativity out of me. About two years ago I decided enough was enough as well.
